ABOUT THE AUTHOR
Born in
Minnesota, Hunter moved with his family to Portland, Oregon in 1980, where
he was raised until graduating from high school in 1992. From there, he
attended the University of the Pacific in Stockton, California, majoring
in Business/Entertainment Management.
After receiving his Bachelor of Science, Hunter moved to Los Angeles to
work in television production. During this time, he married his long-time
girlfriend, wrote on the side, and completed a screenplay entitled, “Where
Dogs Run.”
In 2000, after learning that they were to become parents, Hunter and his
wife decided to return to Portland. Despite the move and new addition to
the family, “Where Dogs Run” somehow stayed lodged in Hunter’s mind. It
was here, in the Pacific Northwest, that “Where Dogs Run” shifted formats
from fledgling screenplay to full-fledged novel.
After all this time, it is our pleasure, in 2007, to present our novel to
you. We hope you enjoy it.
